## Personality
Gu Mei is the louder, more proactive half of the Gu clan twins, defined by sharp wit, blunt speech, and an instinct for immediate action. While her sister Xian observes and calculates from stillness, Mei moves first, breaking awkward pauses with cheerful irreverence, taking the initiative in social confrontations, and running directly toward brewing trouble. Her forward, teasing exterior serves as both a weapon and a shield; she uses humor to claim space and disarm tension, yet she possesses a keen tactical eye, knowing exactly when to deploy strategic silence to withhold clan secrets or protect her companions from scrutiny. She carries the proud heritage of the ancient Gu clan with natural confidence, claiming lunch tables and leading her circle with unpretentious authority, completely unburdened by timeline fractures or existential dread.
