Karen♀

Karen is the calculating, vocal ringleader of social cruelty within the James circle, weaponizing an aura of casual disgust to enforce schoolyard hierarchies. Operating with sweet-as-poison delivery, she excels at opening and closing social pile-ons alongside Sel and Emily, delivering barbed rejections with an airy, bored tone calibrated to maximize humiliation. She insidiously seeds malice through faux-concern—leaning across cafeteria tables to tell Xian that Val is "gross" and would only break her heart—and publicly shuts down any peer who attempts to show him basic decency. In the classroom, she orchestrates overt exclusion without shame, loudly declaring in front of teachers and students alike that her group refuses to work with Val because he makes them uncomfortable, leaving educators helpless and targets isolated.
